The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes

The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes is back, and this year promises to be more impressive than ever. From October 18th to 20th, 2024, you can explore some of the most breathtaking homes in the region, set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the North Georgia mountains. If you’ve ever dreamed of wandering through expertly crafted homes while soaking up postcard-worthy views, this event is for you. Not only does the Parade showcase incredible architecture and artistry, but it also supports a great cause: providing scholarships for local students.

This event is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture and design or simply looking to enjoy the beauty of the region.

A Tradition of Excellence

The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes has quickly become a cherished tradition in North Georgia. The event attracts attendees from all over the country who come to explore these amazing living spaces in the heart of the mountains.

This year’s Parade features 18 homes and showcases a unique blend of styles, from the warm, handcrafted touches of Craftsman design to the sleek, modern lines of Mountain Modern architecture. For those who appreciate a bit of an industrial edge, you’ll also find Industrial-style homes incorporating raw materials like metal and concrete, all while maintaining the cozy atmosphere the mountains are well-known for. The showcased builders this year include Coleman Log Homes, Keith Sumner Homes, Don Clement and Homestead Mountain Builders, Kevin Teague Homes, and more.

As you tour these spaces, you’ll experience not only their architectural brilliance but also their integration with the natural splendor of the surrounding landscapes. From serene lakes and picturesque rivers to panoramic mountain views, each home tells its own story through impeccable design and a prime location.

Supporting Local Youth

While the amazing residences are undoubtedly the stars of the show, the Parade of Homes goes beyond the architecture. The event is committed to giving back to the community through The Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes Scholarship Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales goes toward providing scholarships to local high school students, with a particular focus on those pursuing careers in residential construction trades.

This initiative helps create opportunities for young people to gain the education and skills they need to pursue careers in construction, ensuring the continuation of quality design and architecture in future generations. It’s a wonderful way for the Parade of Homes to leave a lasting legacy in the Blue Ridge area, benefiting both attendees and the local community.
